Setting up image feed

Setting-up image feed can be done by adding the Feed-Email address to the settings of the camera, or by utilizing email auto-forwarding.

1.1 Direct camera set-up - email

  • For most trail and security cameras, it's possible to add and manage multiple target email addresses directly within the camera settings (or within the service which manages the camera). Utilizing the instructions provided with your camera, you can add the target feed-email address you received from Zeemage, such as "QWERTY1234@ZEEMAGE3."

  • For some cameras settings can be done remotely, adding target email addresses with SMS/text commands or dedicated apps.

1.2 Direct camera set-up - mms to email

  • Most cameras which send images using mms, can deliver images to both phones (phone numbers) and email-addresses. Zeemage-address can be added also as mms target address -  study your own camera instructions.

2. Email forwarding

  • Most email services, such as Gmail and Outlook, provide the alternative to auto-forward emails to additional email addresses. If multiple cameras are sending images to single email, easiest solution is to set-up auto-forward from this email to zeemage. In this case user does not need to visit potentially remote cameras.

  • Some email services, like Gmail, require the target email service to "approve" forwarding in advance. Zeemage supports this, allowing opening messages in zeemage.

  • When needed We can help with instructions for setting up these auto-forwards.
